Terms of Service
Last updated: July 6, 2026
1. The service
DocVol provides search, ranking and reporting tools built on public U.S. government datasets (CMS Medicare Physician & Other Practitioners, CMS Open Payments, NPPES, CMS Doctors & Clinicians, openFDA). We organize and analyze this data; we do not create it and cannot guarantee its accuracy or completeness.
2. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed by Stripe, month-to-month or annually. You can cancel anytime from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. There are no multi-year commitments, automatic term extensions, or hidden price escalators. If DocVol materially fails to work during your first 30 days, email support@docvol.com for a full refund.
3. License keys & seats
Your license key is personal (Solo) or for up to 5 named users (Team). Sharing keys beyond your seat count, scraping the service, or reselling data feeds without a written agreement is prohibited and may result in termination without refund.
4. Acceptable use
The service is intended for lawful business intelligence and territory planning. You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws and industry codes (including AdvaMed Code and the federal Anti-Kickback Statute) in how you act on information found here.
5. Disclaimers
Volumes reflect Medicare fee-for-service Part B claims only and undercount total practice volume; every screen is labeled with its data vintage. Information is provided “as is” without warranties; DocVol is not liable for business decisions made using the service. Physicians who believe listed information is inaccurate can email corrections@docvol.com.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers at least 14 days in advance.
